Congrats on the successful maiden pullup. Love the snow scene but you can keep it.

Flew my 109 yesterday as well. Never fails to deliver. Still my favorite. BTW I have a TP-2409-12T in mine and with a 1500 mah battery I fly for 8 minutes but mostly at half throttle which is plenty. Screams and is like a missile on full throttle.

Alan

I havent flown my F-15 yet.. too much snow here in Michigan..
My old Moth had a very nasty ending and I decided I would get inventive with the new ones paint scheme.. All yellow - at a distance, tends to lead to orientation problems for me.. My eyesight is not the best
Same with my Spitfire.. my old one was another candidate for my bad vision.. So I decided again, make it obvious which way it's pointing Not flown this one either yet.. in it's current guise.

Not sure if I'll replace my beat up pico Cub.. although it's a relaxing fly on a calm day.. it's probably a bit too relaxing...

Old and new pics below..

I have to say, there were some nice 109's on the last couple of pages.. I wouldn't mind getting one of those next... Just don't tell the wife!

Good to see all the new models. Those colors ought to help. Hope you get some decent weather to fly before too long. Good luck!

Nice plane. Have you flown it yet? I'd love to see it fly I'm sure its a rocket.

How difficult was it to get the retracts installed? Love to see some closeups of the underside to see how you installed them.

Was there a ship with that paint or just something that tickled your fancy? Looks great.

That's an actual paint scheme. Most people know about Lefty Gardner's famous P-38 "White Lightning" that performed at air shows all over the US and raced at Reno for decades. That paint scheme is that very same aircraft back in 1947 at the Miami Air Races long before Lefty ever owned it. I've always thought it was just a really cool scheme.

It has changed colors many times.
