Anyhow, there are way more important things in life than rcgroups.com. And, there is of course the option of using different user accounts. G p.s. in case you are afraid of rcg "knowing" your ip address, use something like CyberGhost. works really nice. p.p.s. Hey, maybe I am the reason you discovered the ignore feature?! |

I never have. I did research into it and found weird problems. Smaller ones then a fly away but ruinin the flight at some other way.
Maybe it is the user's fault i have no clue but still alot people helping in those threads and takes a long time until they found the solution, or they dont find it. And with "gen's" i also meant the clones. But i guess its not super fair to mention those as its not from 3dr. If you guys want to put me on ignore be my guest. I like both devices and talk trash and talk into heavens when i deem needed although im not a liar. |

The way the Solo is described it all sounds great. Lots of talk on what it can do-Ill look forward to seeing the real world footage and reviews once this thing hits the local best buy.

#Demunseed ... respect! I think I'll settle my own personal Solo vs P3 dilemma by waiting for his analysis. He's there at ground zero and giving us the latest as he records. DJI and 3DR pushing out so much "live HD" technology and can't even share live feed of the booths or the P3 and Solo together when an old man with a mic, pen and paper can do all this work! |

3DRobotics Teases New Drone SystemQuote:
One if the great things people fail to mention about 3DR products is their sponsorship of DIY Drones, which allows the users and product developers to interact and find solutions when issues are discovered. Those interaction bring fast resolution, along with product improvements as a byproduct. You don't have that with "the other guy". Responses to problem inquiries remain a mystery until they are corrected in a new software release, if they are corrected at all. Problems on that front are rarely admitted by the maker. Only one to date that I'm aware of and that's been with the Inspire. Everything else must have been perfect.... |

So yes... if you like to tinker at all.
SOLO is what you want. It seems like a very open platform based on Deemunseed's interview with Colin. The interview wasn't overly technical, but certainly cleared up alot of speculation. I already own a GoPro4 with a loaded P2 + H4-3D. P3 was on my list... but after watching this interview I'm 100% sold on the SOLO. However, I really hope all the Pixhawk 2 things are avaible standalone. If that's the case, I'm SOOOOOOO happy I invested my time learning Pixhawk 1. It's only going to get easier from here. DJI's closed mentality is good for some, but not me. I'm the guy who wants to tear everything apart, write scripts and do stupid and fun things with it. On a side note... I cannot stand diydrones site. I've tried to go there, but it's UI is just so bad. |
