SJCam SJ5000 ***Owners Thread***

I am an owner (not a seller) of SJCam SJ5000+ which is the only SJ5000 which can record 60fps for 1080p.
Another models are:
SJCam SJ5000 WiFi Novatek chipset, max. 1080p 30FPS
SJCam SJ5000 Novatek chipset, max. 1080p 30FPS

Where to buy:
SJCam
Foxoffer
GearBest Search coupons for great prices.

This first post will be about SJ5000 Plus (which also have WiFi) and my next post will be about SJ5000 WiFi. Will be not a special post about SJ5000 because is the same hardware as SJ5000 WiFi except the wireless part and the top most button of SJ5000 is menu button not wireless as for SJ5000 Wi-Fi.

SJCam SJ5000Plus pictures
If you want to use the wireless of SJ5000 Plus I recommend to use the Wireless Direct option (P2P mode) which is described at the end of this post.
Also I suggest to buy a spare battery and even a charger.

Firmware flashing using USB cable for SJ5000 Plus when you have a bricked dead SJ5000
SJCam SJ5000 Plus SJ5000+ ELF file for restoring firmware on a bricked SJ5000 Plus camera by wrong firmware upgrading which will result a dead SJ5000 bricked. Look at pictures attached to this post to see how to install the SJCam SJ5000 Plus drivers on PC. Firmware flashing can be done after the driver is installed, using the elf file and the PC program named DirectUSB Universal.
Here is a video about this, but you can look also at attached pictures.

Wireless:
I am not so good in wireless things, but I want to share with you the configuration file wifi.conf which is created on the MicroSD Car by the SJ5000 Plus camera. The default setting is soft AP mode and by editing it I think we can change some things regarding wireless connection. LinkinEyes is the Android or iOS application.
My advice is to edit the original wifi.conf file and use the Wi-Fi direct mode by changing this
WIFI_MODE=ap
to this:
WIFI_MODE=p2p

Maybe some other beta testers have SJ5000+ too. ;-) Because the firmware is not final version I think is the reason they stopped the presale. For the moment there is a bug in default settings which will set EV to +2.0 and for the 720p 120FPS a wrong value for bitrate, about 4mbps and I expect to be 12mbps.

I will post tomorrow the sample at 60fps. The first one is 30fps and you can find the download link under the YouTube forum thumbnail.

Regarding pictures, for now I have only a picture made in the same place with the first video and I added into the first post. More pictures (but made in a car) with different high resolutions and a short video on the same conditions you can find here.

Nice, this might be perfect for 250 sized quads.
And poor little gopro hero, this will make that budget camera pointless

Without battery you can see in picture description that it is 58 grams. But I don't know if on usually FPV setup you have 5V power to offer for camera because it can use the original AV Out cable. Which voltage are people using for TX? Is some standard like 5V power for TX?

Because speaking about FPV I imagine that sometimes the things are going bad so if the camera will lose power the last file can be corrupted. SJ5000+ have a movie recovery feature, look at pictures.

If here is some wireless guru can give some hints about how is working the transmission different modes for the available options from the camera when connected to Android or iOS devices? In the first post is attached the Wireless configuration file and the text is this:
