good catch right there haha

I got a couple of those 30C batteries a week ago and they do seam to perform very well. Has and one flown them long enough to see how they hold up. It would have been nicer if the charge plug cables were a little longer on the 5300 packs – I guess that depends on your instillation.

Is this weight correct?
184gram for 2200mAh pack seems to be very light. I would expect 199gram at least

Price of Gens Ace 5300mah 3S1P 11.1V 30C Lipo battery pack never reduces with these sales.

So, I received my gens from HongKong ( total price per lipo 87 Euro's )
weighed one and it was even a little bit lighter then spec .
734gram and that is very light for a 5300 mAh 6s 30C

It are two flight packs for my Sbach 107"
And with 2 PL8's it will be no problem, only still need to order
4 x Trojans T-105 225 Ah 6V. So that I can charge at the field.

One reason for the lightweight of the 5300 packs is the wire size. Turnigy uses 10 or 8 gauge wire depending on the C rating and Gens Ace used 12 gauge wire.

That’s ok with me because I don’t run packs anywhere close to the C limit anyway.

The problem with all these crazy high C ratings is that if you have a 5000 45/90C pack (Turnigy nano-tech) you have to have connectors and wires that can take 450 amps (5 * 90 = 450).

I ordered them with 10 gauge, but factory made a mistake, but for my application it is no problem, it needs to handle max 90 - 100A in short bursts. But still 734gram is not a lot, ny zippy 30c 4500 weigh the same.
