Just got home from working on the road today and in my door was my returned 225MG from Hitec Service. Scored Again! Motor and Amplifier, N/C. So now I Finally have a spare 225MG for a plane I have had over two years. Just keeps Rockin!
Charging now to take it to JVS to fly.... |

Survived the wind.
Flew the Yak for three then the 57 SC for three. Got some cool fast backward drifting Hovers and even got some TR's in while blowing across the parking lot. Broke a wheel on the last landing for the Yak. Was about to touch down and it popped and dropped from 6". No biggie. The 57 was the most fun with all that power! Enough wind up there, could really do some tight Backflips! Also had to duck on the last flight, backflipped it low and coming out it turned around in the wind and headed straight for me at 3ft, Downwind.... Went Full Throttle and pulled Full Up. It basically squatted, then hauled itself right up and out of there. Wish I had the Cam. Went right over me and the tailgate that was up! Blenders were really fun today too, must have been laying on throttle. Just glad the planes survived the risky landings. |

Hovers are very steady. Personal choice. Most of these guys can't be bothered by a prop that slow but as a beginner, it's great for me. |

Thanks to all for the suggestions for KE spins. Tried them out yesterday and got them going very well. I was able to get fast spins from a couple different entries as long as I did them with left rudder.
Was at the Huckfest in Lodi, CA today and saw the back half of a 70" 330SC fall off in flight, and the front half kept flying for a while must have been cracked previously because it just broke off in level flight, complete destruction |

This plane just keeps getting better and better for me. I was doing slow HA rollers down on the deck this morning (well... about 5 feet up but that's as low as I've ever been) and it just felt SO locked in. I've got a 71" Slick coming my way this week but I foresee myself getting a 72" Extra at some point.
