yes correct. I'd personally use something more accurate then a RC charger. Do remember that IR in battery industry is AC resistance and not DC as the iCharger and other RC chargers calc. Its close but not exact. But yes. We use pure IR measurement machines (ac 1khz) and we stand by the cell IR spec measured on the cell terminal exactly.

Sounds great.

One last question on your lipos.

Are your balance wires still the stiff wire or have you gone across to silicone flexible wires?

I remember from several years ago your packs had the stiff wire balance wires that were prone to damage.

Agreed. Someone needs to go back to page 1 and edit the link.

Does anyone have experience of Gens ace lipos? They seem to be very inexpensive, especially compared to equivalent big brand names. I am interested in the 1300 Mah to power the Radian.

Tom,

I own almost 60 lipos ranging in sizes from 1S 350 to 6S 4000 in Zippy, Thunderpower, Rhino, Turnigy, Blue, Zippy Compact and Gens Ace. The Gens Ace batteries are far and away the best lipos I own- hands down. The only problem with them is being able to get them, they sell out fast!

Don't know anything about Haiyin batteries, but a price of almost $41 for a 2200 3S pack is outrageous IMHO. You can buy 2 Gens Ace for that and 4 Zippys.

There are threads throughout RC Groups that evaluate battery brands. Do a little research before you buy.

Cheers!
Andy
