Hi, I got rid of "Wobble of Death" by shortening servo arm ball distance from 12 to 8 mm, on my CopterX 450, like you told me.
All was nice, BUT... Today I flew twice, then decided to remove the training kit and, sadly, I immediatly got "WOD" again :-(
The training kit seemed to somewhat stabilize the heli / FBL module.
What can I do now to get rid of it again ? Lower some gain ?
Thanks in advance for any help.

I've put 9 flights on my 450 copterx with cx3x1000 after fixed servo problem . Found out I like it better on f3c mode better than soft 3d not quit as quick on the sticks. I have a 450 x from blade with the 200 dollar beastx ,It flys a little better but not $170 dollars better

Also had the wobble of death on my 450pro with Tarot FBL head. Just managed to dial it out... finally. My problem was that the blades were not at 0 pitch at mid stick with an un-altered pitch curve. I used the default servo to swash lengths for a flybar 450pro and this was the problem. Linkage lengths for a 450pro with a tarot head need to be in the 35-36mm vicinity with the servo horns at a approx right angle to the swash/servo linkages. Pitch range is around 26 degrees, +12, -14 with mid stick at around -1 with collective range set at 60 in John_NZ's software. Should also mention I used the reccomended distance of 12.5-13mm for control ball mounting on the servo horns.
I had a pitch range of 26 degrees with collective set at 60 when I was having WOD issues but zeroing the pitch at mid stick (or close to) has fixed the issue.
So responsive yet stable. Now I just have to improve my flying skill so I can fly it without fear of wrecking it Heli kept wanting to tip as I was putting on power for lift off, was a close one. Ah well back to the flymentor SE v2 for now.

Thanx to all those in this thread who have contributed and helped me nut out the WOD issue on my heli.

The F3C mode is very smooth, but the tail was too slow for my liking.

Do bear in mind you can easily tame down the response of the hotter presets by using expo and D/R.

And by lowering the roll/pitch agility settings.

....and then you end up with a chimera, with the tail of a Soft 3D grafted onto the head of an F3C....!

Any possibility of producing an Android app to use with the bluetooth dongle in post #1? Probably wouldn't need all of the setup options but maybe the advanced and parameter setting options.
Could fine tune with a phone at the field then
