I'm going to purchase one soon once I finish putting together the list of parts I need to purchase.

What motor/prop combo are people using?

It looks like most of the current builds are using motors with a 22mm diameter or less. What's the max diameter motor that will fit the opening in the arm?

The hole openings are 25mm so 22 fits about right, BUT if you want to place a larger motor on it such as a 28mm you can do as I did on one of my Dialfonzo MiniSpyders.

Just turned the arms over and put the mount side of the arm on top.

It is hard to fly and stay in the frame.
The motors are
SK3 2122 1570 kv https://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/s...ner_Motor.html
props are Gemfan 5x3x3 http://www.flitelab.com/OnlineStore/Props.aspx
ESCs 10amp tigers http://www.clubheli.com/Tiger-Motors...EC_p_3767.html
I like the motors and Props. But feel they are on light side.

We had a huge warm front come through and bunch of rain.

It flies nice. It is very solid.. ask my swing set

I think I would like to try a bigger motor and 6"- 7" size prop. I get 3.5 min with a 850mah 3s. It seems to me that the props lose their profile at the higher rpm and disc load.

Normally I just fly around the backyard. But here I was trying too hard to stay in the camera frame.

Looks good NaterPin, I think you would like 5x3x4.5 props much better though, I did not like the 5x3s.

Where are those? I think I am going to switch to the C20 2050 and try the apc 5.5x4.5 and 6x4 speed props.

I buy my props in bulk from here,

http://www.himodel.com/sort.php?sub1=E2

The props are cheap but shipping is expensive that why I buy as many as I can for a set shipping price..
