hmmm I too had a flip while it was taking off...

I think it's due to the FC forgetting the settings. so I guess it's best to recalibrate everytime before going up. I've also notice that after firmware update the calibration was way offf too.. Just wondering if you have camera gimball onboard then you might use that as some kinda indication of the FC loosing it's settings? since after power on your gimball will not be in the correct position.

luckly I only fly over grass... no damage props

nowadays i just hold the copter and power up the throttle ..
this way it will still be in held by my hand IF it tries to flip .. i then dis-arm and place on the ground to take off .. or i just let it out of my hand if nobody is nearby

This add on board will not work for me since I have an octo and loosing 2 esc is not an option.. I've been having crashes while trying to take off.... The fc keeps on forgetting its calibration.. This is really dangerous.

Yesterday I tried to do some test flights with the camer on and the octo was flipping and flying towards me while taking off, luckly i was standing very very far away but i had to disarm right the way and broken some props. Please let TMF know that the FC intermittently loosing its calibration is extremely dangerous and will eventually cause major accidents. This really concerns me because I was doing test flights without the camera right before putting the camera on and the FC was flying very well. I changed battery and put the camera on, and It flipped... Luckily there were no kids or neighbors dogs around...

This FC is grounded for now.

I was impressed with this board when it came out, now i'm starting to think its a joke. That add-on board is not acceptable unless its provided free to AQ50 Pro owners. Its creation is an admission that the current board in its current state cannot reach its full potential without being reworked, firmware won't fix it ever.

Shame, it looked so promising at the beginning.

or maybe the new re-worked board is sold to existing AQ owners at a BIG discount

Thats precisely why this board is only on my FPV quad, my camera Y6 is Hoverfly and they are all about support.

My quad flys very well. As long as i calibrate it after every power up (mildly frustrating) and then land and recalibrate very few minutes to stop the drift (very frustrating).

I like the way the TMF Pro flies, it is super stable and very easy to set up and tune.

The problem is (as i've already stated) that by showing us that it NEEDS chips replaced or bypassed or added on proves to me that a firmware upgrade will never fix the two problems i have. Will you take my board back and rework it with the new chip?
