Well JMHO of course.....I have a lot of flights on a 70/71 and a lot of flights on the 72. I prefer the Extra for all around.

Packs all charged going to fly my Extra tomorrow....first flight with a Hacker A60-5S on 8S. Ran it up today, didn't have time to check the amps, but I can tell you that the stab sure hurt the back of my ankles!!

Let us know how it goes SteveT! What prop will it be turning? The specs on that A60-5S look similar to the motrolfly 5320/300kv I got. I'm going to start with a 19x8 on mine.

Man, I've only been waiting for a month and it's still excruciating. I can't wait for the container to arrive so my airframe can get shipped.

I have been having good luck with a Xoar 20X10 PJT carbon gas on my 74" Edge, which is using the same motor, so, I'm going with it on the Extra also...

Ah, OK thanks. Yes, I actually remember you mentioning this a while back and I should've remembered. That prop actually looks very pretty. Aesthetically, I mean. Good luck on the flight!

Well my hot welders glue drip worked to strenghten my V1 wing that almost failed. 3 flights yesterday and some hard walls, all good. Glad I didn't have to cut into the covering.

The wing tube area was a little weak in the V1 planes, there were some failures. I had a near failure but glues it up. SteveT and some built a add on to the spar area to beef it up. Many haven't had a problem. I probably have 200+ flights on mine.

Yes I followed SteveT fix... I guess my question is what did you do to get the glue down there. Its a tight area to work in.
