Very well done. Most of the tutorials I have seen so far have left out these absolute beginner, embryotic steps. They assume you can already fly at the basic post stall and don't explain what it takes to do that.
I am just at that point where this is very timely. I can't seem to get a good harrier going, but I see now that I need to work more on the elevator and then build the harrier on to that. Can't wait to go flying again, now! |

I compare 3D flight to sliding a car on a wet road on purpose. Most of us have hung the tail out for a giggle, and it's the same sort of thing with 3D. The plane is not going the way it is pointed, but you're still controlling it. Work your elevators enough and your harrier will come together. |

Soon as I saw this i went out and tried my hand at some elevators:
Also did some parachutes which are great fun providing you get the timing right The EF Edge EXP does make all post stall manoeuvres much easier, it's almost cheating |

Here's an example of what in the article:
As you can see, this is not a scarey maneuver at all, and you can do it at whatever altitude you are comfortable with. Start with this and once you get it working really good you just move it forward into a harrier. That's when it all starts to come together. |

I have a Sebart Katana S 30E so, yes, you are cheating! |

The Edge really does make a difference because it's so stable post stall. I've got more elevator travel that I can use to get the elevators more vertical, so that's the next step. Steve |

I added a photo from today that I took when unloading the car. I do have an Edge also and as you wrote, it's almost cheating! |
