Here's another format I found in the archives, but from the thread it looks like you saw it a long time ago.

This car does it with a 470-cid Oldsmobile mill with a single 1250cfm Holley carburetor making 925 horsepower That too is a real motor!

Sorry guys...but for me funny cars, and NASCAR for that matter, no longer resemble anything like a real car....it just lost it's appeal to me...here is what I remember and grew to love when going to the Orange County Drags back in the early 70s....I've got some great pics in a box somewhere I need to dig up...

How about you guys posting some of your favorite pictures of your Nirvana's?

I started another thread on this forum asking readers to post their favorite pictures of their or other's RC sailboats. As of today there has been 25,603 hits on that thread and some amazing pictures. That thread is only 238 days old.

How about you guys looking through your picture files and taking a little time to post some of your favorite pictures of your Nirvana's or other boats on this great thread. Or take some new pictures of them in action. It would be nice to see pictures of where you guys are sailing your boats as well. One of the best parts of this hobby is spending time outside enjoying the nature beauty around us. Sharing this with others could generate some new interest in people just getting started in RC sailing.

I enjoy seeing action shots, or just good pictures of other people's boats.

Some boats are going to be stock, others will have some personal touches done. Regardless, it is always fun to share pictures of our projects for others to enjoy - who knows, we might get some of the old forum members to get back on the thread.

I would like to see some good pictures of the Super Nirvana. We have some good pictures of the modifications for the archives, but no real nice "glam" or "fluff" pictures of it. This is a one of kind Nirvana, and deserves to be well archived for future generation of Nirvana owners.

This might be a good tool to stimulate some new interest in Rob's great thread. Who knows, we could have a photo contest, with some awards for the best photos. I can work on that idea, if you guys are up for it. Perhaps, awards could include a new 2.4 radio and receiver, or a set of custom sails or ??? Just sayin...................could be fun..............Ideas are invited.

Just thinkin out loud.................

To get things started on this photo idea, I am taking the liberty of posting a couple of my favorite photos taken by Robert/Crash recently.
He has captured both the grace and beauty of the boat and the surrounding waterscape.
I have a few more of his lens works that I may post if he is to shy to post. Good job Amigo!

Enjoy
