Is there anyway to make it less sensitive other than the dual rate??
I bought one for my 10 year old grandson and it is going to be wayyy to sensitive for him.
I fly a 550mm quad and it is to sensitive for me even..
Thanks

I got my mqx from a trade. I wanted to go for an alien look like earlier in the tread but couldn't find any aliens at my lhs. They did however have figurines for California Missions models. So this is what I ended up with.

Get a 3mm (1000mm length)carbon square tube, cut it to the orignal length.

You can get it here:

It doesnt, the stock tx in the rtf mqx is a terrible combination, it needs atleast a DX4e.

Video Camera for MQX

Does anyone have any recommendations for a small video camera for the mqx? One that has decent picture quality and is light? Also, what is the best wa to mount it? Thanks. siginden@msn.com

Get an 808 #16 true 720p cam. It has the best video quality & the fewest dropouts of the keychain cams. Make sure you don't get a fake #16. The #16 should go for around $40 USD without a card. If you see them for a lot less, they're fakes, and they're not HD. This guy is the expert on 808 cams: http://chucklohr.com/808/

The cam weighs 17g, and the mQX is rated for a 28g payload. Mount it under the belly at the CG. Be sure that all four rotors are dynamically balanced, or you'll get nothing but jello. If you don't know how to dynamically balance the rotors, look 5 pages back for detailed info.

Here's how it should look when you get it sorted out: https://www.rcgroups.com/forums/show...postcount=6367

Seems like the MQX with an 808 #16 camera is hard to beat for the money. Or is there a better starting/budget option?

Thanks for the video. I watched many on YT that were pure jello effect.

I have crashed and smashed my MQX so many times and finally last weekend I managed to really smash it up pretty good. Won't even fly any more. Want to know what happened? ha. here it is.... my brother stepped on it when he was jumping out the the way of his own while it flew towards his face. ha.

eletoponline365 on ebay, took mine about 2-1/2 weeks to get here I am VERY happy..love the lens
