Think about how often you refuse to directly answer questions and then think about how often you use personal attacks. No pressure. Just think about it.

No..its the video where he explains how lots of people in this country do not pay taxes and how is that fair??

I give direct answers frequently and am one of a handful of people here who references factual information, so yeah, it's not that hard.

Because it's a lie. Everyone pays taxes.

Ok, then how about we narrow it down to income taxes? Does "everyone" pay those?

That wasn't D'Souza's claim.

First you say this:

Which is it?

Even if you pick one it still boils down to essentially the same lie. The oft-repeated claim was always that "50% don't pay taxes", and when you shift to income taxes, the numbers don't match the claim anymore. You can't have it both ways without being a liar.

I already pointed out how D'Souza relies on repeating debunked talking points, and then trying to shout down any objection, so this is no different in its lack of factual basis.

CrazyLittle, the way you constantly browbeat people as you avoid answering even the simplest of questions is a reflection of your character and not of the people whose only fault is they're gullible enough to waste their time even attempting to converse with you.

Go through this thread and try to prove what you just insinuated. No pressure. Just do it.

Then do yourself a favor and learn what the word projection means and how it relates to nearly all of your posts.

It takes a lot of effort, but I have had short term success with getting individuals on the very far left and the very far right (same personality types really) with holding their feet to the fire. Every single time they refuse to answer a simple question call them on it. Every single time they attempt to distract via personal attacks call them on it. Unfortunately at the most a month later they revert back to their old habits. I guess the introspection battle just loses to their cognitive dissonance in the end.

Billy, the personal attacks are of no concern as its obvious certain people like to play a little game where they call people names but do it in a way so they won't get spanked by the mods and lose their precious posting privileges. Anyway, it's all just silly innuendo that ultimately reflects back on them. The only annoyance is not having an ignore button to use on those whose sole desire is to piss people off instead of engaging in any conversation.

Well put. Plus he uses the Liberal tactic of constantly calling others liars. I regret not smackin' the report button when he's done it to me.

Using personal attacks to distract from answering questions is a major calling card of the debate style. It is amazingly common across forums. I just think it's best for it to be pointed out in the open. Crazy enough it could be so ingrained that he might not even realize he does it so often.

Copied the following form some one who posted earlier...

I am an American conservative -heel

This morning I was awoken by my alarm clock powered by electricity generated by the public power monopoly regulated by the US department of energy. (Nope - I get my power from a publicly owned company, not supported by tax dollars...) I then took a shower in the clean water provided by the municipal water utility.( Privately held water supply company, heavily regulated by the government under rules that goverment run utilities are exempt from) After that, I turned on the TV to one of the FCC regulated channels to see what the national weather service of the national oceanographic and atmospheric administration determined the weather was going to be like using satellites designed, built, and launched by the national aeronautics and space administration. I watched this while eating my breakfast of US department of agriculture inspected food and taking the drugs which have been determined as safe by the food and drug administration.

At the appropriate time as regulated by the US congress and kept accurate by the national institute of standards and technology and the US naval observatory, I get into my national highway traffic safety administration approved automobile and set out to work on the roads build by the local, state, and federal departments of transportation, possibly stopping to purchase additional fuel of a quality level determined by the environmental protection agency, using legal tender issued by the federal reserve bank.(which is a valid function of the FEDERAL GOVERNMENT) On the way out the door I deposit any mail I have to be sent out via the US postal service and drop the kids off at the public school.

After spending another day not being maimed or killed at work thanks to the workplace regulations imposed by the department of labor and the occupational safety and health administration, ( and no thanks to the common sense and skill of those with whom I work...)enjoying another two meals which again do not kill me because of the USDA,( and no thanks to my wife who knows how to fix food safely) I drive my NHTSA car back home on the DOT roads, to my house which has not burned down in my absence because of the state and local building codes( actually the electical codes are created by a NON-GOVERNMENT organization, and my house doesn't burn down because I use some common sense and turn things off, and don't use devices which would overload the wiring...) ) and fire marshal's inspection,(Fire inspection???) and which has not been plundered of all it's valuables thanks to the local police department.(Which I pay but are under no obligation to serve or protect me or my property...)

I then log on to the internet which was developed by the defense advanced research projects administration and post on freerepublic.com and fox news forums about how SOCIALISM in medicine is BAD because the government can't do anything right. (as we can see with social security being bankrupt. and the post ofice being bankrupt)

Sorry, but most of those things that you credit government from doing for you are still dependent on the individual using simple common sense...
