AUSELECTRIC, is that a speedo wing in there? I have just test flown my new Outlaw yesterday at Hollowback. Which came to 1050g flying weight. I was so pleased It flew great.
It does the most exiting Ninja stars. But the recovery rate is about 50-60 m. Unfortunately I am up for a repair job.I must have started the last NS a bit too low. The nose is gone, including the front wing retainer. Not sure where I can get a replacement fuse in a hurry because it would need to be reinforced again. The wing survived, only scraped some paint off, and one of the aileron horns pull out of its groove. Does anyone know where I can locally get another fuse? |

Did phone your mate, didn't realize strait away that he doesn't live in Melbourne. To far to go, but thanks anyway.
I made a start to fix it.Sanded a new nose out of white foam, which I will glass and then solve the foam with thinners. I made the front a bit wider and a bit longer. I casted a piece of lead for the nose, and stuck it on the foam. Now since I know that it requires quite a bit of lead to balance. |

I have finally put servos in the speedo wing and about to start the fuse. So far this build had taken almost 18months with the fuse socked about April 2011

I've nearly got my quiver ready, but still got to build another light windburner ( Thanks Kev for giving me his personal one because I plowed my light one in the other day at Pinetrees).
Rusty thumbs was at fault I haven't dsed in a few months. I figure I get heaps of practice time again at NZ2012. |

Making progress, the nose is back on and more roomy than the old one. Still quite a bit of work but at least I can see it finished in time. No more Nija Stars before I get to NZ.
Looking forward to get this one to the dark side. |

Still a few more to roll out, waiting on servo's, and a couple to repair. |
