Yo pinch me cause this is crazy! Practice anything you want and don't really worry about crashes on a CP??? WTH
I agree. It has taken a loooongggg time, but finally things are lookin good.

Nothing be afarid to break it does wonders for progress!
Yeah, with helis like these, the sims are gonna have some stiff competition. I used to always practice any new move on the sim 100's of times til it was perfect, then go try it out and hope it worked on the real deal, Now, I just start with the smallest heli and work the moves all the way to the largest.

Looks like the gear is pushed down and you broke a pitch control link.

Probably just a swash plate ball or linkage. Can you post a different angle of the rotor head?

Nothing looks like you just have main shaft slippage. Push the main gear up while pushing the main shaft collar downward

I think it only looks that way because the head is sitting so low

Yeah, either the main gear slipped down or the collar on top slipped up.
Push the main gear back on snuggly, and if you still have play, you must push the top collar down and reglue it.

Should the servos make noise all the time?

Should throttle hold from dx4e be slow to respond at times or not even respond unless button is pressed more than once?

Sounds broken..PM me for my address and ill test if for you

Linear digi servos are noisy.

On the thold it should be instant. Maybe the button isnt being pushed hard enough or isnt triggering every push.
I dont know why they made thold tied to a button instead of a toggle..that sucks. If that were the case for mine i would never hit thold in time

Sounds good guys. That little collar is moving, push gear up, collar down, and glue it to the shaft?

So those main shaft collars are actually glued to the shaft? Why would they not use a screw like every other small heli?

Yeah, use a needle or something very small with a drop of CA glue on it very sparingly.
Dont get the glue in the top bearing or up the shaft to high

The exact measurement here:
• Collar on main shaft – If the collar on the main shaft has shifted position caused by crash damage, it needs to be secured 18.83mm from the top of the main shaft using an adhesive such as CA.
