Q-500 electric motor
Hi, I'm looking for the electric motor to replace the thundertiger pro on my Q-500.
I have tried the turnigy 35x42 and the 35x48 . They don't crank a 9x6 fast enough on 4s lipo 2600 pack. The 35x48 with an 8x8 prop preforms like a good 32 ,which leaves much to be desired.They are just not hot enough. I don't want to spend $200. on an entry class pylon racer. Does anyone know of reasonable outrunner or in runner direct drive that might work with a max 5s cell lipo? |

For $100.00 a rimfire .46 would work. Mine turns a 10x7 on 6s. If you're interested, here it is:
