Where did you get this from? No, it is not true. Nothing was copied. The Pixhack V5 is based on the PX4 FMUv5 reference design. It is licensed under CC BY-SA 3.0 like all the PX4 derivatives. This one has the new F7 processor with hardware double-precision FPU and faster clock. And the IMU accuracy and consistency is exceptional. It is a very high quality unit.

The Documentation is the same look is what I was saying, like a copy paste job. Nothing about the FC itself.

That's because the websites have a consistent look. But the Pixhack V5 is documented on PX4 just like any of the other controllers
