The frame on its own weighs 400g. Are you sure you weighed it right. My plane has more stuff in it but just from the feel I know for a fact it's not over 1.2kg. Feels to light in my left hand when I hold it (and I'm right handed)

Mine comes in at 1700g just got her done today. Using the trusty EG Vector this is gonna be my rapid response mountain plane. Using a titan 3s 5200 li-ion pack when It comes. Got a bad one but there sending me a new one super nice people. might have to use my 3s 7000mah li-ion 3dxr packs. The bird pulls 34 amps. gonna start with the cg at 300mm. now I had to add nose weight since the li-ions are light weight. Might put a micro servo on the other hatch and have the camera where it can pan. I rather have the weight used for something!

Did some work to the lid for a pan servo also strengthens the top plate.

Nice build.. That should Haul A$$..

Heres some 3 min CAD i came up with for better motor mount. I didnt take out the center hole for the motor shaft. This is a rough sketch.

If its flying badly below 55kmh its because you got CG too far back.. . Thats 25mm behind stock.. And my guess is you still have up trim ?

A bit.

I didn't think it was possible but the S1100 is hands down better than the Sonicmodell HD wing in almost every way.

Flies more stable at high and low speed
A full Amp more efficient
Waaaaaaay WAY stronger foam

She's everything I wanted. Brilliant. And with the eagle tree vector she is solid. Honestly today was just awesome.

But I did have an oh crap moment. At 13.6km out (New personal record btw &#128513 I hit failsafe and i couldn't come out it. For 3km the plane flying back over a district. Real scary with a new plane. Fortunately the vector saved the day. Throughout the 3km it flew flawlessly. Honestly the best AP ive ever owned. At 10km I was able to gain control again. I blame the antenna I had on the tx (tuned bignose13 coil loaded dipole instead of my standard moxon). Because of that I wasn't able to fly the windfarms. But I will test her out again with a 9x7 (i broke it today in a stalled launch) and my moxon antenna and try to reach 20-25km.

i don't know why others review seems strugling with nose heavy
so i launch her with both hand because too scared with nose heavy (CG at 28) i can't make CG more backward because my battery too heavy

and then ? where is the nose heavy
i'm not have a chance to try manual (she born perfect) w/o need TRIM at all
she pass to be my next LR BORING plane fleet
