Thanx. I knew about these.
However, they have male connectors on both sides. So they cannot extend a existing cable. I would like a male - female cable, to extend a existing male-male cable. The reason for this is that I am using it for a speed-sensor in the wing. For transport, I detach the wing. Just like servo's cables, it would be nice to be able to unplug the cables. |

I have My Air Speed sensor in the fuselage and use Robart Quick Connect 3mm couplers on the two pitot tube air lines from the wing. Less risk of electric connector wear and abuse. The Robart Quick Connects are male female so by swapping ends one air line to the other it is near impossible to connect wrong.

Ok, thanks for the info.
I'll probably get myself some MPX connectors or something like that. |

Not a rumor. This is the response I received today after asking about the glider programing:
Harry, I have checked with the Spektrum team and we will be bringing out an update to the DX8 for glider programming. The full details are not completely worked out yet as far as when it will be released, but they did confirm that there will be a small charge for the extra programming. They did not give an exact price but hinted around $30. As soon as they are ready to bring this out there will be plenty of marketing materials and announcements that should answer all the specifics about this new add on. Keep and eye out and you are welcome to contact me anytime for updates. Thank you for asking the question and hope you have a great weekend. If you said any or all of that in your thread, any potential repetition here is because I didn't read it. |

For those going the Robarts quick disconnece/connect route on the air lines from airspeed sensor to pitot tube. I love them, but remember to put a dash of red paint on the pair that feed the center (+) line.
Now here's my question: I'm installing gas in a plane and as such it has a separate battery pack for ignition. Can I wire in the connector from the 4.8v pack and see the ignition battery pack as FlightPakVolts? I think I need to use a "Y" and it is on the TM1000 don't know if I need to enable a channel for reporting on the DX8. Thanks KKKKFL |
