Thanks James. Those are the same cabinets I built for my garage in the original D80 build thread. Been moving them for years and always using them for the airplane room at the last building I had. When I brought them here they got a few tweaks and a paint job. They almost look like they were designed for the space here. Very handy to have.

No Andre, your D60 is actually leaning against the opposite wall. Can't see it in the pics but it is there getting inspired by watching its big brothers prepare for the winds.

Hi
That is wonderful thread indeed. I am glad that it is on again. I read how to install wipers but is that way good enough for building wipers on a dlg wing?
Thanks.

I just spent all afternoon re reading (parts of) this thread. I never realized you made three of them. I saw the vid where you cracked open the first wing and was just blown away by the scale of the moulds, the smoothness, she shine, the paint quality and everything else. As a guy who builds mouldies I just cant believe how anyone could build one so good and so big- its just amazing! I know its been said over and over but well done Joe, and I really hope you get to build another one!

Thanks Josh. Im in the middle of setting up my home workshop. as soon as the dust settles I want to make another one. I did run into a new problem with the tools. I ran out of room for them. After staring at all the aluminum and various other items it was clear I had to build a couple storage units to hold all my stuff. One of the units was specifically sized around these wing molds. 16ft deep! These things keep getting more expensive the longer I have them. Anyways, they have a safe home to rest in until the next use.
