The only two time i buy from them was a mess... I finaly got my things but... There is some very nice one from UK normaly. I don't have a lot of background in programming too.. But i am backed by some very talented people at www.lynxmotion.com |

The result is always deceiving... i know it's expensive.. That's why i am building a MINI.. The one i post about is a custom one i designed with 3D printer parts mixed with Plate cut parts. This one is small and will use cheap HK servo.. not tested yet. |

Of course if you can program you can do anything.. lol But there are sample with Normal Transmitter, not very supported. Most use a PS2 controller |

Oh what the hell, I managed to lift a solder pad on the first ESC. DAMNIT!
These are way too easy to lift off. All I had to do was tug a bit on the and it just popped right off. I guess this ESC is done for then. Unless you can cut open a trace or something, but these are way too close to the CPU. I gotta try with a lower setting on my soldering station... |

Alrighty, Freakazoid, video is coming up soon. I can tell you right now that the difference is definitely there, they seem to react much faster now! But I know how much better BLHeli is until I've compared the two side by side. But it's looking really good so far!

Here you go.
I was lucky with the first ESC, I managed to flash it before the solder pads lifted. Timing is set to high on that one, so it's probably usable. But I'll order two more just to be safe. If the AP03 motors perform like they should and have a bit faster respone then I should be OK. (Bigger, wider stator = More torque = Faster throttle changes. Right?) AP03 thrust. 44 x 4 / 2 = 88 grams of thrust. AP03 x 4 = 12.4 g 3.5A ESC x 4 = 1.2 g 400mah 30C 1S, 12A max output = 13.2 g FrSky Rx = 5.8 g 3020 props = 4 g, guesstimation Frame = 10 g FC = 2 g Wires = ??? Total, right now: 48.6 g / 88 g |

Good to see, with BLHeli it will generally not be the firmware that limits speed, but rather the motor/prop inertia.
If you want faster retardation, you can set the ESC to run damped or damped light mode. That will cause retardation to be noticeably faster, presumably primarily the last portion of the stop ramp. |

Retardation? Are you talking about decelleration here? These were set to light dampening, i.e. stock settings. All I did was set the timing to medium high except on one which is set to high and can't be changed anymore. I assume that the AP03 motor will be even faster, but then again, it will swing a bigger prop. (3020)
