Indeed. I met Card at a Marcon in Columbus some years ago. Very deep thinker and very spiritual.

It should make for a very interesting social discussion given the prevalence of very realistic games we see today.

I need to dig through my archives for the original books. I think I read "Speaker" and one or two others (?) about 20 or so years ago.

It is interesting to see a resurgence of books like this, and the LOTR and such.

Be careful not to read too many in the Ender series - it goes from hard Sci-Fi to the crappy magic and fantasy junk that Card also writes (unless you like that kind of stuff ).

I'd be happy stopping at the first book. I have no burning desire to continue on.
