So many posts here... I can't keep them all straight. The parts you nuked would need to be replaced as Isoprop said. I don't know what their specs are and impossible to identified when they are torched. If you had another inoperative camera with those parts still good, a simple swap might be possible, but soldering those micro components is NOT easy without the right tools and techniques. I did it once, but it was about 50% luck. And is still possible other components are also toast without showing any obvious signs.

I've not inquired, but you MIGHT ask your seller if they can sell you just a new populated circuit board, with no lens module or battery to save cost.

Nice vid and flying. The tail mount was rock solid and gave an interesting perspective to the airframe with the wide angle lens... almost looked like a canard!

Yeah, been experimenting with a tail mount for a while. All it took was a little balsa, painters tape, and foam.

Great video, good mount idea too!

Just a comment about color balance. The colors in the still photo look good to me, probably with a different camera. The yellow covering looks bluish in the video. Some of that might be sky reflection, if so could be corrected with polarization. However, it does look typical of #16 emphasis on blue tones to me.

Does the 808 #16 D lens go through the battery quickly? There have been a few times last week where I wanted to record something and the battery was or died on me. Last night was the second time but it was a cool evening and it was four or five days since I've charged it.

I max at 35minutes. my old #11 would go close to 1 hour.

so far 3 #16's and both top out around 35 minutes. got a third on the way will see if that one does the same.

I LOVE how the music is synced to your maneuvers. did that just happen or were you listening to the song as you flew it ?
