Going back here, would you say the flight times are around 3-4 minutes?

No, full throttle and you'd get around 2 minutes on the 180.

Question: two of my friends just purchased sabers, while flying they experienced signal interference but only on the throttle between themselves, they both fly JR, did anybody have/had this phenomenal happen to them?

Must be a common problem as this is the third time I have read about it on three different threads.. In the past two minutes..

Hey guys. Are the stock 2s 250mah 20c batteries that come with the F86 sabre good for the plane, or is there another 2s battery i should look into for the F86 which will give me more flight time and performance? (don't have the plane yet, just doing some research first).

The 250's balance the jet out without having to add weight. The model was designed to carry them, so they are ideal to use. They give good flight time.

Others are using slightly larger lipo's like 300mah size but you have to make sure it's balanced. A small error in CG will upset tiny models a lot.

I have flown mine with Nano-Tech 300 and some 400's.. The extra weight makes doing scale like landings hard as it doesn't like to flare.. If you are flying without the wheels and landing on high grass then this isn't much of a problem..

But the 250's seem to be the perfect battery weigh wise..

Have flown Zippy 350s. About as big as you can get.

Also tried one of these noname batters. I like it. Maybe slightly smaller than the zippy but heavier than stock 250. Would say I get about 5-6 min flying time, maybe more without pushing it.

Re: What to do with F-86 electronics & EDF?

Have a fairly well worn F-86 and was thinking of putting the and EDF into something else. Has anyone tried to build anything with the stock F-86 electronics?

This Techone Mini F-35 seems like it might be a good candidate. Has anyone tried?

I thought guys were adding a dime to the battery with the stock 250's to get better cg? I ordered some turnigy 1s 350 cells and made my own packs.....so 2s 350mah 20c and they came out 3 grams heavier than the stock 250 and it balances and fits perfect

No, it's the first batch of jets that came with a 200mah lipo that needed the dime under the lipo.
