Aussie corflute builds

SPAD site on RCG is very traditional type airframe.
Me and some mates create something a little different. All electric and fast. OK not so pretty but very thrilling to fly, cheap to build, and can take a crash, then get up and fly again. Mostly park flyers but some slope. Share some photos (show us your Mig Merv). I'll start with some simple stuff and hopefully some one else will contribute.

latest build, (can't really call it a build, it's a fold with electrics installed). Not complete, in case you can't tell. But from previous experience, I bet it will fly, and very fast when it's fitted with a 2500kv heli motor.

Looks good (don't you love corflute?)
Got sick of breaking props so went for pushers. Never used fuel, only electrics, but great to see someone else is into corflute. Even got most of the local lads to convert, once they'd seen how they could handle a crash and fly again. Tried combat with a mate with our wings but it's hard to hit someone when you're trying to.

Gizzo, that looks like the simplest airframe ever. Can't see an airfoil, wow! Guess power just keeps it aloft. good stuff. thanks for joining the thread.

Haha, there's no airfoil, just good old AoA and some line tension.

One of my first SPADs and the easiest to fly. So stable that once I passed the TX to a mate who wasn't expecting it and asked if he wanted to fly it. He was surprised because the plane was in the sky when I did it. He took the TX and continued the flight. This thing only crashes when you do something really silly, so it's crashed a lot

That is some plane, Steve. Would love to fly some slope sometime.
Bet you know Merv Green. He loves slope and has recently built a sweet Mig-29. That plane looks a bit big to fit in may car tho'. Corflute, corflute, corflute
