Today I was testing my EX with different LiPos.
Of course using a 4S with my Moxie 450W was the right thing to do...
(the video is very short but you get the idea of what followed in the 45 minute flight I had)

P.S 45 minutes in one 3600 MaH Lipo but with a lot of head wind. Fun Fun Fun !!!

Thats really carving allot out around the motor. I am running about 330 watts and a APC 10x7 prop trimmed to 8 inches (I've been told that trimming like takes away allot of efficency from the prop but I like the way it runs anyway). I have also upped my battery to a 3300 3S and can get some long flights in. More wind the better. My max current while flying is about 26Amps according to the Quanum Telemetry package.

It looks to me like they are pointing the prop shaft upwards more?

I have recently obtained a Vivitar DVR 426HD Digital Video Recorder that I am planning on putting in the nose any comments or recommendations in advance would be helpful. Keep in mind I have a balso canopy that I made and was thinking of using as a support for the camcorder. Whats your experience been with this type of cmacorder? Please advise if you can.

Who has a stock raptor motor in good shape they would like to sell me?

Had a great test flight at dusk last night. Moved UHF rx out to the wing and mounted two "sanders" in a bunny config. Interference is high at this location as we counted four large transmission towers nearby and one in the pits. BEC gets replaced next as it's become noisy. Fun stuff begins @ 5:30 mark, lipo is pushed until she chokes

This motor screams on a 4s setup.
I've had excellent results with this motor. Enormous power, speeds between 80 - 90mph with an 8x6 apc.
