CS10 Rotors and parts are back in stock, plenty of housings too so bare fan units are available, and with the new Extreme Spinner that fits straight to the stock rotor without the extra machining process needed the price has come down!

It`s powered by a Turnigy 3126 that has been rewound to 2.5 turns for aprox 2900kv (need to measure it). I added a 4" long shaft and an extra front bearing to support the longer shaft. The motor has an OD of about 37mm so it`s in the standoff position. I`m using a collet style adapter, but I`ll have to check to see which one it is. No mods to the shroud except what was needed to fit the standoff block. The rotor is bare bones stock.

Note: This is competely insane to run this $15 fan like this. Don`t do it, don`t even think about doing it. (That way I can be the only guy who has one).

Today I blew up another rotor goes over 46k.
So two already blew up over 46k.
It been working flawless 44.5k rpm. Wish CS had better mix on the material adding 2-3% of fiber.
Than we can push harder.

This F-100 two year ago I was fly with 90mm at 2.4kw and it was 8.5 lbs.
The speed is much slower do to poor sharp intake lip.
With the 70mm not worry much about the FSA and even sharp intake lip will not penalty as much with over 120 FSA.
Here I shed off almost a pound in weight and smaller fan easy to feed air to the rotor.
We had awesome effecient set up.

Yeah, SM didn't keep the wings light...stabs feel like they've been balsa sheeted over glass and then glassed again..

I was planning on coming in somewhere around 17-18lbs and use a single fan

The ESM wheels I have are pretty nice they're just heavy when every ounce counts

Did you see the Carf hawk I convert while back?

This little fan has me taking a fresh look at all of the 90mm kits out there. Take the Golden Hawk F-86(Pro Design. I think ) It's too small for a 90mm. No room for lipos. Fish mouth intake. It would be perfect for this fan, plenty of room for lipos with smaller ducting and the intake could be reduced to a scale size.
