http://www.ebay.com/itm/ws/eBayISAPI...E:L:OU:US:1123 9 days from China to California with his free shipping from Vocanlo...awesome. I'll get to try it out this evening. If you have ever bought from Goodluckbuy you will know that it take 3 to 5 weeks to the US or longer during China's new year celebrations, and they even got my order wrong, and said they would rectify it but did nothing (I dont think they understood what I was telling them and since I dont speak Mandarin.....) so "Good Luck" Ray |

Hah, won't be able to test this board much in the next two-three weeks. I was going to demo the quad today for some people but I lost control and broke a motor shaft. To the guy who sent me a PM, sorry, I can't test the board anymore. I'll order a new motor later this week, I didn't lose a lot of money. Just a bit of my pride, guh.

Ground effects will also effect stability within half a meter of the ground due to turbulence, prop blast etc. Try hovering it up at 10 meters on auto level and you will then see that the auto level makes for a good stable camera platform. You also want to shield the Baro from wind and turbulence so it does not cause it to fluctuate readings as much. Auto level does not compensate for wind drift, that is the next step of the MWC development using a GPS chip add-on. |

Just a quick question, i have mine hooked up to the pc via ftdi , all channels are relatively stable (ticks by 1-2 numbers +/- ) all except the throttle which is jumping by up to 100 +/- , now i know its not my equiptment as if i change the cable so my rx channel is different then the real throttle doesnt jump about but the replaced channel jumps.
eg on the rx i swap pins for thr and ail...... aileron doesnt jump about throttle still does , i hope that makes sense. Faulty board ? sorted ** faulty esc |

I had to reload the firmware on my new Crius board. I used "#define HMC5883" for the Mag in config.h and now my compass is 90 degrees off. It points west when it should point north. It worked fine with the firmware it came with.
Any ideas or help is appreciated. |

Tested my Crius board today with just the FTDI hooked up.
Everything seems to work as expected but i noticed the debug1 has a value of 360. Before I start tinkering with the firmware, I'd like to get a backup of the original load. Does anyone have it? Oddcopter, You should be able to adjust the north in the sensor code section. I have not looked there before since this is my first Mag and mine is reading right. However I do have to load Tricopter firmware and am afraid I wont be able to get back the original settings for X-quad if I want to change back. Ray |

Never noticed... BTW does anyone noticed a low yaw lock?? its not as firm locked as my KK board.. The gyro values seem to be ok.. every gyro axis show the same output when rotating the quad. |

How hot does your main little black chip get ? mine is very warm/hot just after a few seconds , also has anybody linked up a blue tooth device to this and tested it with their phone ?

just got mine today too. I bought mine from rc-hobby-part on e-bay and it came in hex6 config, I wanted hex6-x config so I tried re-flashing it and got the same issue with the mag as oddcopter. Facing north, It reads west, I did notice in the sensors tab it says you have thirty seconds to move the board in all directions but that didn't do anything either. Also tried re-cal in GUI, Turning the board in circles... Nothing. Is there a way to pull the original firmware off this thing using avrdude and the 6 pin ISP? since it doesn't seem this can be done with arduino sketch. Also oddcopter, The debug1 is your alt from your baro, Look at the ALT on the left side of the GUI and debug1, They read the same and change together accordingly. Just changing the config from hex6 to hex6-x and setting the sensors in config.h shouldn't render this thing useless, There's gotta be something I'm missing.

Haven't had a fly of my SE lite board yet, I wrecked one of my Plush 6A by accident. I thought I would be smart and solder the 2204 motor leads straight to the 6A to make the wiring neater, and I got a tiny solder blob shorting a couple of pins, and she don't work properly anymore, the motor just judders won't spin. Of course HK are out of Plush 6A's! That will teach me not to order 5 instead of just 4. When I eventually get in the air if it's any good I will get the bigger board with the magnetometer and baro as well.
