that gyro appears to be a g401b. heres a link to everything you could possibly want to know. link

the full left / full right you are experiencing is from the gyro being in heading hold mode. the gyro needs to see a negative value on its control channel to be in rate mode. not sure the easiest way to do this on futaba... on spektrum, its easiest to gear endpoints.

"The black and red wires go to your battery. 9-30V input. This'll keep your 5v system supplied quite nicely. Plug the reciever plug into your reciever's spare port somewhere...."

that 9-30V input,....what do you yourself use? a separate Lipo pack?

My summit is brushless, I run 11.1lipo. I just take power right from the deans connector for the esc.

I run the stock EVX-2 ESC and brushed motor with (2) 2s Lipo's.
How do I connect that UBEC?
Do I connect it to One of my Lipos powering the ESC?
confused here....also
I know I plug the servo connector end to the batt port of my RC rx.

also, I snip the red wire on the esc connector going to the RC rx.

The summit is out of commission right now... Camera, tilt servo were borrowed for my airplane projects...

I can run the summit in the wintertime, cant fly in the wintertime

I keep seeing some cool construction sites I want to explore though. In good time, in good time.

I wonder what oh what has happened to wobby? He must be up to something BIG. He never stays quiet this long.

I have a plan to do a long range test with my car.

But have to go over small streams along the beach as i go.
so water proffed stuff and put some wings on my car to make it go over areas of water.

this is kind on entertaining, because it is different and the future video should be cool

EKRANOCAR for FPV (1 min 35 sec)

David, you've been planning this for a long time... Less talk more action
j/k of course... My "caged beast" is anything but long range.

The local BMX bike track was redone and fixed up the other day so i want to try that as well.

trouble shooting my ground staion to make it work better at this time, but for sure will make more vids with my car

slash 2X4 front wheel drive

There is also a club that guys race cars at. i would like to go there when everyone else is not there and practice the course.

FPV

then show up and do the race with them, fpv

I think I can beat them

if it is easier inthe air it sould be also on the ground?
