Motor is a Turnigy 35-36c (1300 vrpm)
Hobbyking brand ESC
Your battery will be required to have the Deans connectors.

$25 additional for a 3s 20c 1800 mah Turnigy batt.

what size batt are you using? Did you have to add any weight to the tail for the added weight of the motor/esc/mount?

2100 MAH 3s 25c Turnigy
You CAN NOT put the battery all the way forward, you'll mess the CoG up. However, a strip of velcro holds the battery in place nicly.

ALWAYS remember that the CG is your friend

So a 2100 can be moved enough to adjust for CG, I imagine the heavier motor/mount and ESC would make it nose heavy.

Motor is lighter, mount is 1/10oz heavier. What messes up the CG is the weight and length of the battery.

headed out the door to do a vid for you guys!!

Uploading to youtube right now. Vid REALLY sucks because the camera does. But I got a landing and a HIGH speed flyby. This setup is pulling 450 watts at 36 amps with a 10*5

so..if I order the motor and ESC from hobbyking for only $41.90 (that's with shipping) i don't get the aluminum motor mount...but,

If I order the mount from you with the identical motor and ESC, it's $80.00.

How much ya want for the mount alone?

I fully understand ya Dave, like I said my dad is the machinest, I'm just the schmuck helping here. The mount is $20 shipped in the USA. Most folks DON"T want to wait the 3 weeks for hobbyking to get there stuff, I however can wait if needed

Just noticed your in Canada--gonna cost a few more for shipping Sir--$23 anywhere else in the world

fnlrun,
In your quote earlier you mention that if you order that Tunigey motor you would require a Deans connector. Why is this? does the motor come with a Deans or have you ordered a combo deal and the ESC has a Deans.
