**Tuffy** Pusher type Primary Trainer by Tony65x55

These are the some brief clips of a new design Pusher type trainer I built from basic drawnings by Tony 65x55. The plans are not complete but the concept was to build a pusher type trainer to protect props and other equipment and take a lot of beginner abuse. The plane was intentionally crashed or flipped over 15 times without repair or prop replacement during this outing. Flying with an aft cg was intentional. The plane was flown both with and without ailerons and with and without landing gear.

Here a link to some additional info.

Hey Foamentator,

Do you still fly the Tuffy?
I'm trying to download the vid but it's 30M and my bandwidth sux. I have been thinking of a safe easy to fly pusher and Tony's stuff is always good. I had a couple if Blue Babies that flew very well. I downloaded the single PDF file and that's enough to do a build.

I got about 70% of the video. What is all that noise. The loud clicking sound?

Any more info out there?????

Steve.

Steve.... I've actually built two more. The second one used the wing from the original which was actually from the Blu-Pacer I built earlier. The third has about 8 flights on it and it fantastic. Jump over to the build thread:

There's no video due to camera problems, but there are some pics. Bob

Hey Bob,

I have some repairs to my Q Trainer and mods to my Lil' Buster. I'm trying ailerons for the first time1 I will start a "Tuffy" in the next day or so. I really want a pusher. Save those propellers and bent motor shafts.

When I get started I'll post here.

Steve.
