Pawnee

... Hey Tony, I have your Piper Pawnee plans cut out and the wing already built. I will use the common sense rc #E5-m-18 1500 kv motor for a 12 - 26oz plane. I am wondering what prop to use. I am new to RC and electric flight. Would really like to find a 3blade prop... Thanks Jim

jeebo,

There are 82 pages of posts and tons of info over in the Pawnee build thread. I recommend you post your question there if you can't find the answer.

https://www.rcgroups.com/forums/showthread.php?t=748508

This thread is sort of an administrative thread for keeping track of and finding things about the tony65x55 designs and not really intended for fielding or answering questions about them.

I'm not trying to give you a hard time, good luck with your build.

Beautiful job on that plane Ken, my compliments!

Mike will undoubtedly add that to the list of "inspired designs" in post #3 when he gets a chance.

I'm looking forward to a report from Oshkosh, maybe even a video of a formation flyover of a full eight bird gaggle. :>)

Hi Steve, I built my 33 with a 2" monobloc off the regular plans. Only thing I had to do different as I recall was expand the top and bottom fuselage pieces to match the taper. Everything else was ok. It's nice because it gives you more room in there for your stuff and getting your hands in there and it flies great.

Thanks to both of you for the help. I am getting set up to build more than one BB 33 and am just getting everything together that I will need.

John, I am wondering what you used for your 2" monobloc. Was it a full 2" or did you allow for the FFF side pieces.

Thanks again..........Steve
