Only 101 days left to get your planes ready for SMALL!!

One of the themes we discussed last year was

"And Now For Some Planes That Are Completely Different"

Try to bring something really unique.

Only 87 Days Until SMALL!

Dale,

Good to hear from you. Tom Blakeney and I just got through flying with Paul Willenborg at the TINY Indoor event in San Angelo, Texas last weekend. We promoted SMALL at the meet as the next event to build planes for and got a commitment from Michael Connally and Ernest Butler that they will be coming to SMALL for the first time. 87 days to get those planes ready.

Bring Your Autogyros!!!

From discussions we had at TINY among people who will be coming to SMALL, a number of pilots will be bringing Autogyros. Another subject was Single Bladed Helicopters. Bring something cool.

I talked to Dale about the possibility of some night flights.
Since the indoor portion of S.M.A.L.L is on Friday evening he suggested doing the night flights Saturday night during the dinner at the field.

So how many people have a night flight model to bring?
If It's just me with one I may as well leave it at home.

Laying the ground work with the bride on coming this year.
Don't know how I'm going to get all my planes built in time.
I've farmed a lot of building out with more needing to be built.

Now I've got to get my night flying TURN-ON ready to fly.

Anyone up for going to PF Chang's Friday night for dinner?

Keith,

Mike and Ernest are coming to SMALL for the first time and plan to bring the trailer and stay at the field. They plan to do night flying and I have lights on my Picses autogyro and a couple of other planes. Gary Jones is planning to be there and has a bunch of night flyers.

Well I for one hope to see you again.
Late time I saw you was at our fly-in in Springfield, many moons ago.
At lest I think it was you.
Too busy flying and running to talk too much.

Hoping the stars align just right and my bride acquiesce

Autogyros, Wings, and Other Strange Planes from Inter-Ex

There is an annual event called Inter-Ex that is a gathering of people who build and fly very unique aircraft. It alternates between locations in Germany, France, and the Netherlands.

Here is a link to pictures from last years event: http://mcbssy.free.fr/Photos/2008/Inter-Ex/index.html

A link to past Inter-Ex event photos: http://www.inter-ex.com/english/iexoverview1.htm

There are a bunch of autogyros, wings, flying art, and many other strange planes there every year. We can build planes as interesting as these and bring them to SMALL.
