Hitec Aurora 9 Transmitter |

It is a 9ch radio, and the only available receiver in 2.4G is 7 channels for now.
So, I think it is module based, same as Spectra, and will be 35/40 MHz backward compatible too. Also, a 2.4GHz Spectra module was announced, for older radios. I guess it is common to Aurora 9 too. Hitec was already commited to modular technology. |

You can find more information and pictures about the Aurora 9 and their 2G4-system on the german page:

Hiya Mike.
Will the Aurora 9 have trainer port programming? Ie. Can we program which controls we give over to the trainer radio when we flip the switch...or is it ALL control given to the trainer when the switch is flipped? My current Fatooba 10C has programable trainer switch so I can use it with my FPV head tracker (plugs into the Fatooba trainer port), as I can program in to the trainer switch to only accept 2 channels given through the trainer port and I still have control of the other channels through my Radio. Thanks! |

I don't think so but I have still yet to explore all the features.

well I had assumed that the two systems would be compatible but that MPX would handle the top end range and hitec the low to middle range.
it seems crackers to have developed two separate systems. Everyone knows hitec and mpx is owned by the same company, they don't even try to hide it, so why don't they act like it? |
