Will be available in 35MHz/72MHz or only in 2.4GHz?

It is a 9ch radio, and the only available receiver in 2.4G is 7 channels for now.
So, I think it is module based, same as Spectra, and will be 35/40 MHz backward compatible too.
Also, a 2.4GHz Spectra module was announced, for older radios. I guess it is common to Aurora 9 too. Hitec was already commited to modular technology.

Hiya Mike.

Will the Aurora 9 have trainer port programming? Ie. Can we program which controls we give over to the trainer radio when we flip the switch...or is it ALL control given to the trainer when the switch is flipped? My current Fatooba 10C has programable trainer switch so I can use it with my FPV head tracker (plugs into the Fatooba trainer port), as I can program in to the trainer switch to only accept 2 channels given through the trainer port and I still have control of the other channels through my Radio. Thanks!

I really don't understand "business". I thought Hitec bought MPX. So how is MPX still able to 'go their own direction'? I wonder if it's a ploy by Hitec/MPX to guarantee that MPX remains the premium brand with a matching price tag with Hitec providing the mass market. After all, if they were compatable, why would you buy a MPX 2.4G reciever when you can buy a Hitec for half the price?

Mike
A disappointed MPX user.

well I had assumed that the two systems would be compatible but that MPX would handle the top end range and hitec the low to middle range.

it seems crackers to have developed two separate systems. Everyone knows hitec and mpx is owned by the same company, they don't even try to hide it, so why don't they act like it?
