Such a waste of powerplant on a FJ, How many amps does it pull on that setup?

Maybe a pic of the 4S 3250 mounted in the fuselage?

Your comments are a waste...apparently your mother didn't tell you if you have nothing nice to say...

If you watch the vid and see my comments from the thread you would already know what I'm pulling.

Glad you are jealous.

And if you've read anything on the FJ you wouldnt have wasted your time on an airframe that is so draggy it is the poorest return on MPH per WATTS out there next to a flat plate wing.

Those ARC 28 motors are an anomoly Powerplant that has no equal in MPH per $$, I have one just never got it in anything yet, however it will see some SEFF 09 action.

Hmm. I think c/f does not like the Funjet.

Here's what I did this weekend:

107MPH Funjet (2 min 5 sec)

Pretty sad because I was 90+ with 300 watts

I will be running the Arc motor setup listed above at SEFF 09 in a balsa P51 should be 150+

This was my first 80mph+ plane from last summer & the fuselage was broken in half twice during my series of unsuccessful launches. My next step is two 3S 2200 25C in series with a suitable motor. I need to do some reading. I should probably get a new airframe too.

I'm hearing in my videos the Funjet pushes a lot of air to the sides. It's pretty impressive, like a small barn door pushed by 1HP. I've seen/heard the Voodoo powered by a 2000kV/3S1300mah too, sounds like an arrow passing by. Looks like it's time to find a better airframe & motor.
