F1 RC nitro car at 1/5

Hi everybody, im new at this forum. I 've been building rc cars for some years now. Recently, I have been working on my last car, the Renault R26 F1 car. It's been built entirely from scratch. No comercial kit or drawings were used to design it.
It has a glass fibre bodywork, with wishbones and other parts made out of carbon fibre in order to reduce weight. The engine is a OS 30 VG that will push this car with great torque, which is what in needs cuz it weights about 6 kg. That is more than a 1/8 car, so more power is vital in order to make it run fast. The brake system, which im still developing is a double hydraulic circuit with four brake disc calipers.

I hope you like it! if you have built or had the idea of building a car like mine, please let me know what kind of car were you thinking of.

you can also check my website to learn more about this project:

Hi bernimodels,

It's an howesome project and I'm very impressed. Carbon built, only 6 Kg, nitro engine... Perhaps it misses a 3 speeds gearbox (from HPI)

Best regards

Hi guys,

here are some more pictures of the car. Now it is fully painted and has got the stickers on. The cockpit is the only bit that is still to be made and after that it will be ready to go!
The Ferrari F2004 that you can see on the pictures is my last RC model car, also made by myself.

Awesome work.

Nice website too, but I found the "pencil scetch" of the car in the background a bit annoying as it made the text blend in to it too much.

Perhaps a colour change would be a good idea?

I have added some new pics to the website and changed it a bit. I will post more pictures and videos when I get the chance to test it properly.

P.S. D.V.P thanks for your advice. However I do not have very good image editing software and I will leave like it is by now.
