Just a basic but good-looking delta, flying basic acro. It's almost entirely 10mm Cellfoam 88 and weighs about 10 ounces, but the
ELE outrunner gives it well over 10 ounces of thrust. I've got it turning a huge APC 7X4, and the effect of it is that the model's speed is controlled almost directly by the prop RPM. Throttle up and the model accelerates to match the prop no matter what direction it's pointing. Throttle down and it won't speed up even when it's pointing straight down. This model flies the opposite of a jet, there's no feeling of momentum being conserved, no zoom climbs or maneuvering to bleed off speed before a descent, but it does have basically infinite power and acceleration. Here it is over Pole Green Park (a few miles north of Richmond International Raceway), fighting through a brisk day to pull off the most basic aerobatics in its catalog (640X480 below):
