Nano F22, Nano Eurofighter and Nano F18.... using Plantraco radio gear

Here are my latest 3 nano pusher jets using Plantraco Radio Gear.

The F22 has been flown and flew GREAT.

Here is the original thread.

https://www.rcgroups.com/forums/showthread.php?t=985672

The Eurofighter and F-18 will maiden in a couple days. I just finished these up today. I will post when they fly or crash......

Keep those micros flying.....

*** I have a Sparc P-51 I just converted to Plantraco as well. I will add another thread for that one.

Wow Kyle, I cant wait to see them fly this Tuesday! Those look exceptional.
I can't even pic a favorite even though I am an F-18 junkie, They all look great! Keep up the nice work as I figure out how to buy all my Plantraco gear to put into one of those for myself!!!

Well they all flew.... but I need to do some prop mods. I plan to open up the prop slots and use a full Plantraco prop (versus the cut down props I had to use for the current design). Then I will fix the templates to keep the wing span the same, but fit the prop slot to the full thrust prop.

For the details.... the Eurofighter is a floater and is very stable... it just needs more thrust. The F18 is more of a CG issue (but flies nice and fast) - I need more nose weight..... but I want to fit a full prop on this jet as well.

.....more to come......

Looks like maiden wont happen today, had to remove V stabs and glue them inserted as they were too flimsy. Currently rorking on underbody.

The Plantraco version can cruise pretty fast and then (it surprised me) it floats along at a walk as well.

I have some fixes for the Eurofighter and F-18 to use full props, so I should be able to give better flight reports soon.

It might.... you will need to scale up the plans a tad.... I think the 7.5 inch wing span will have too high of a wingload for the PKZ gear.

Nice planes! What I love about micros is the fast build times and they're inexpensive enough to really try anything that interests you.

Roger That.

They can be traced, cut, glued and ready for radio gear in about an hour.

I may however, laser cut these and kit them out. I am collecting the details now.

those look great, and simular in design to rc tomhe's designs. his mig 29 is an awesome flier at 16" wingspan with a park 180 motor and 4x4.5 prop. you should try amig29 next. what thickness is that foam? i have some pz gear, but i don't know if i can set it up to do elevon mixing, does anybody know?
