Painted a couple planes now with it, love it! (might have to grab another ). Verrrrrrrrrrry smooth.

Also, Dennis, are you sitting down? Guess what I bought today? A bunch of washers! Works great!

Finally got a plane painted. I built this to do the pictures for the kit instructions. First ever spray job and I used the Harbor Freight Deluxe airbrush because I had played with it. Had fun with the flames, the name stencils were a pain to keep flat so there is some overspray there. Cut the stencils with my vinyl cutter. I was rushing as I needed to get the pictures done. Now I can play with the HobbyKing brush to get that tuned and comfortable for the next try

If it flies, I will crash it

On my foamies I spray the entire surface with a spray adhesive like 3M77 or similar. It bites into the foam and the paint sticks well to it. It does work on regular transparent tape or Scotch Tape hinges so it should work for you. Give it a try on a test piece first.

Thanks dude, thats helpful, Im sure it wouldn't hurt covering the plane in a light spray of adhesive to ensure a good stick, Thats what the tape is scotch hinge tape.
So much for a cheep plane now im going to buy a airbrushing kit.

If you have a Harbor Freight nearby they have a serviceable "Deluxe airbrush" for $14.95 and always have 20% off one item coupons. Then it's just an air supply if you don't have one
