HET F-18 Single 90mm

Has anyone bought the HET F-18 single 90mm EDF? If not, can anyone find instuction manual for this jet? Buy this one in the month of December, but no manual.

Is it me or are the new Big HET F-18's/ Mig-29's not very popular. I would absolutely love to have one but it does start getting more expensive as you use 90mm/twin 70mm. They are beautiful looking models.

Makes sense...too big to hand launch. Kinda scary to bungee launch. Kinda cheezy to have fixed gear slowing ya down. Can't wait to one day have retracts. Use the ole hand launch off hill on HET F-20.

I received mine today. Plan on doing the HET retracts, with the HET fan and the 600-43 motor. I already have plans for a cockpit and the paint scheme I intend to do. It doesnt have panel lines, but I can draw those on myself.

I bought mine from Robert at EJF.com. He has a retract mod that he is selling. I beleive he actually worked with Kevin Cox to get it done and the pics look good. So I ordered the HET retracts and the laser cut former set to give it a try. I have the plane, retracts, motor, and fan. They all shipped direct from HET. The formers should arrive in a few days.

Tonight I will get some pics taken and start a build thread

Good mate of mine at our club has flown his HET Mig 29 off a bungee. Flies nice but I do hate that sound when you can hear dirt and crap being thrown down the intakes on landing. 3 videos under my YouTube channel...click the link and do a search for Mig...

my F-18 is still in the box. Got it about 2 1/2 months ago, before they offered the bigger motor (600-43). I have the 600-33.
