Recent AP from Antigonish, Nova Scotia/new pics added July 27'09

Very pleased with the results from my LX3. These were taken with fairly low light again. The camera seems to capture good detail and allows for tight cropping. I can be seen flying from the field and laneway behind the school building.

Very nice pics. I imagine there's tons of salt under one of the roofs in the highway garage ?

Here's some new pics taken at Lochaber Lake, a deep finger lake (100' +) that takes a long time to freeze.

Nice pictures.
We visited Cape Breton this past fall for the Keltic Colours music festival (my son is into fiddle playing). Very nice area to visit. We took tons of pictures (from the ground). I would have loved to bring my heli with DXG hidef camera but not enough room in the car. We stopped by STFX on the way back so he could check it out. It was nice vacation, hope to go back to the area sometime with a heli or plane.

Hi Norbert,so far so good, I really like the control it affords such as shutter priority and its wide and sharp lens although I don't need such a wide angle for most shots. The weight is about at the limit but I'm having fun with it!

Marc, thanks again. Nervous? Naw..it's only$ (nervous laugh)Well maybe a little, but it's the only way to get the pic, right? I know (it's) going to happen sometime and then I'll likely be very nervous the next time

It flew...nearly!
Excellent pictures, very clear. One of the few benefits of flying in winter, the air is a lot clearer than summer. Very good work, Bolter!
