My newest edition to the hangar. Electric power 48 on 4s at the moment. Sig sealane at my local reservoir. Flys great and takes off and lands without issues. Important when all you have is a rubber tube as a emergency boat.

Byron p51 pics and vid

What do you all think? its a rare Byron p51 split wing, its been 2.5 years in the making and finally i painted the model and connected the linkages. I changed the motor to a DLE 55cc, retrofitted new air cylinder on the original retracts,Arduino retract sequencer, hitech servos and a few more things i had to make it function well. Soon to be maiden!

Streaky Fokkers

The black and white picture is from #40 Osprey Publications 'Aircraft of the Aces'. That is the effect I tried to accomplish with these 1:5 scale models.

Very nice, you accomplished the look. What kit are your Triplanes? What engines ? I have 4 Balsa USA 1/4 scale WW I airplanes Fokker D-VII, Sopwith Pup, Fokker Dr I and a SPAD XIII. I love going to the Dawn Patrol events.

jwrich- these are heavily modified Arizona arf models purchased many years ago. There isn't much original structure to these... Shipwright's Disease, evidently! Motivation comes from OS-70FS engines. I plan less scale sailplane stuff and more scale model powered events in 2020.

Gentile

I always thought these photos were great.

These are from six or seven years ago but the photographer did a nice job.
