Jacksonville,

You need to get this plane. It flys itself.

I have flown the covering off this plane and it is a blast every single time. I also get inquiries about it every time I fly it. Mine is the original as sold by Billy Hell back in the day and I got it second hand. Awesome bird!

Noob Question

Guys, what would be the best way to glue on the wing. Epoxy, CA ? This is my first balsa profile build. My other balsa ships have bolt on wings. Thanks for all the help !!!!

Either will work. I prefer the epoxy on the wing and ca on the tail feathers.

Either/or. I definitely prefer epoxy but I use it sparingly. CA tends to become brittle and in the wing saddle application, it provides better torsional (?) strength. Or sumpin like that.

One more thing. Keep it light! Light flies right and better to have 2 light batteries and a flitty flippy than a M1A1 Abrams that can fly for an hour

Thanks guys. I just finished up the wing with some epoxy. I'm planning to use a scorpion 2215-22 , 940Kv. Also using 3-4oz batteries. Should be about 20oz AUW. I'll post the final weight when she is finished.

That sounds kinda good. Charge the video camera while the glue's drying

A slow set epoxy w/ microbaloons mixed in to lighten it up is my choice.

The original BH Sabre35 is my fav plane of all time. I have 2 VH Sabre35 V2's still in the box... gotta put one together soon. I miss my old one!

Just finished her up. AUW is 21oz with my setup. I'll try and post pics from my computer at work when I get back Monday.

Started mine today.
Supertigre .10 motor. Nice and light.. The motor mount is to big for the provided motor mount, so I'll make something out of lite ply.
HS 65HBs in the tail
Maybe HS 55s in the wings.
and TP 1350 for the batteries.
