Yea, you would. I think you met Garth at the show and auction. You guys would get along great to compare apples to apples. His ipad toy with 3G access is great for surfing the web when driving to DLG contests.

This old-timer saw Kittinger's jump in about 1963 on an old ABC (I think) weekly Saturday afternoon series "Science Fiction Theater" ( No, not THAT Sci-Fi show(2K)). It was a rush. Sport jumping was in it's infancy back then and all they had were old T-7 & T-10 military surplus chutes. Hell, we in SF didn't see the modern Ram Air Para-Commanders until the late 70's and HALO/HAHO wasn't even in use til MACV-SOG used it in the late 60's when they went into Laos. Still, can you imagine, over 30K jump at over 1000kph. Whoa!! Very extreme!!

Very cool video! The background looks like slope soaring site in Israel. There are quite a few talented guys in this group and some post in the soaring and composites forums.

Got the AR drone yesterday at Brookstone in the mall. Got tired of waiting for Amazon to ship it. This thing is totally awesome. Only have 2 flights on it. It is very stable and easy to control. I will bring it to the Oct club meeting with a few batts. Need to order some 1300 3S1P Zippys from HK. One batt is not enough.

those guys are pretty good. Imagine how they'd look at a different or better venue. A Flying Circus indeed!

Kind of a pointless video after launch until the landing approach.
