What do you mean by a CMOS sensor? Is that a bad thing? I'm considering buying this camera but fist, i would like to find a vendor that can deliver. Is there any other camera that is better than this one?

CMOS vs CCD.........

http://www.dalsa.com/corp/markets/CCD_vs_CMOS.aspx

I don't own it... but I have heard Jett Pilot say it is the best cam for FPV...

This one...

nothing bad but the rolling shutter scanning system of cmos sensors.

if your plane vibrates, forget it and get a CCD like DPC480

thats the effect you get with cmos sensors (like CCDKiller camera) when plane vibrates:

ATC2000 sucks!!!!!!! (1 min 33 sec)

Hi. One thing you should be aware of is that CMOS DX201 has a global snap shutter. This is important in our application because if the camera has a rolling shutter, the video will “wobble” with an airbone platform. Please see this link for an example.

Thanks, that is good to know. I'm looking for a second small camera for now. I bought the Dallmeier-bl2 from geekdisk but it's a piece junk... no programming cable and no support at all. He sold it to me for $215 in a worn out plastic bag so now i can't switch it from PAL to NTSC and the color is like a $30 camera
Anyway, I don't have much experience with cameras so I will get a good one and compare it against.... if the one I get is better, it will become my main camera. I also plan to use it with helicopters so... it's a good thing you mention about the vibration issues... so I CCD is a must for me then. I"m glad I asked
I think the suggestion of the best camera for FPV is I received is the Sony but seems kind of heavy... I will have to think about it or find something as good but lighter.
