Wow this kit has a sheet of thin balsa. I'm not gonna open it until I'm ready to build. Is the thin stuff for the cowling up front?

I bought a 22 gram Cobra motor that will turn the 9x4.7 slomo prop real nice, a 15 amp Talon, TP 1350 2S G8 and a couple of HS-5056mg servos for the Quaker.

I'm gonna cut my teeth on a SkyScout and a Little Bogie first but I'm really psyched about the QF.

Thanks Pat, this hobby really needs kits like yours! Building is AT LEAST half the Fun.

I contacted Callie Graphics and they said they can do scallops for the wing, tail feathers, and nose on Pats QF. I have been schetching some color schemes on my tablet and this is what I came up with.

I wanted to do some yellow and red like Pat but more than one color doesn't work out with the decals and I have two rolls of red and one black anyway.

Comments or suggestions are more than welcome.Name: uploadfromtaptalk1400353333041.jpg
