G'day RCOzStyle. That was just a generic propsaver pic I found on the web. Nice catch, though!

LOL, so do I, along with the HK 4 channel 2.4 GHz radio, 3S 2200 20C lipo, lipo charger, and an extra RX and a couple of cheap servos for a second project.

I'm VERY interested in Tommy's secret, so I'll be patient.

Hi Guys

I wasnt trying to be picky, but one of my mates always puts his pushers on backwards, no matter how many times I talk to him, he still does it.

I think its because he is always rushing to do everything, nice guy thou. I find myself automatically check his pushers everythime he comes out lol.

Yea I would be interested in getting one, but the shipping is just a turn off from HC. You know it is one of those make it look cheap make it up by over charging shipping. They'll never know...

Can't wait for that "deal"

I have one now that i just finised putting together. It has a good airframe but the control wires and servos are really flimsy. Since the fuse is already glued it may be a little hard to modify. If we are going to get an alternative. it would be nice if it came in kit form so you could add your own equipment w/o having to tear it apart.

Are the servos that bad? i kinda liked the fact that this was a complete deal for $65. Only negative I read about was the joints were a little tight.

Well I can't say yet if theservos are really bad. What I can say is i did not like the way they were mounted inside the fuse. They were lloose and the cockpit is cramped. It was difficult to fix them. I would prefer the servos on the outside of the fuse like the easystar. That would be easy if the thing was not aready put together. The control wires are flimsy for the rudder and elevator. They look pretty good for the Ailierons.

I'm not saying it's equal quality to the EasyStar, but the following thought leaps to mind.

How can anyone complain about HC's shipping? The bird is only $59 or whatever before shipping. Even with $40 shipping on top of it, it's still $100ish to your USA door, and that's half the price of an EasyStar before shipping. Plus, it's already got ailerons and brushless. Looking at it from this perspective, I don't know why anyone would hesitate to buy this plane from HC, assuming it can be massaged into a usable plane following tips on this thread.

There's a lot of RC companies that charge $59 for just a brushless motor...

I don't own one yet either, but my hanger is sorta full at the moment. I've eyeballed it for friends who let the shipping deter them, and once I pointed out the perspective above, they immediately started grumbling to themselves about not realizing it while it was in stock.
