Ok a few more photos with the 'new from the shed' tail taped on, I have done the trike UC as suggested by Jochen.
The Lipo is fitted along with the motor , blades and 1 servo and my AUW so far is 2.8lbs.
I may make an adjustable engine mount attached with rubber bands so that it can be moved up and down until the optimum position has been found??

Hello Rich,
Very Nice work! You really build fast too, what an accomplishment in such a short time. I for one, am excited to watch your progress with this build. Keep up the great work, looking foreward to more posts. Have you named it yet?
Regards,
-Mike

How about the "RPG" (Rich's Pusher Gyro)? You could even put a nice picture of an RPG(Rocket Proppeled Grenade), and a cool military theme.

You could cover it in Gold monokote, and then the name would of course be; Golden ROD(Roch's Own Design). Not sure if you're an Austin powers fan or not, that one might be lost if not.

A word of caution about the Austin Powers Jokes and banter, I've discovered some folks in the UK don't find the phrases from the movie as funny as we do. In any event whatever name you choose couldn't make the model any less incredible. Good show.

Heres a photo taken of my pusher against my R2 to give you an idea of its size.
So I here everyone going on about the CG, Im presuming that this procedure is done with all equipment fitted. Peter has tried to explain how to do it ..but Im not 100% sure, he stated that I need to hang it from 2 or 3 different positions and take photos of each position? my question is which pionts would be the best to hang it from to get my imaginery vertical lines??
This maybe a stupid question but this is all new to me, I will look through previous posts as Im sure this is explained somewhere.

Hi Rich, I'd call it the "Zephyr"............it is nicely streamlined like the 1930's American locomotive...... Charlie Anderson

Rich,

stick a sheet of paper to the side of the RPG, then hang it by the rotor spindle. Put a mark on the paper, vertically down from the point of suspension. Hang it up by the nose wheel and repeat the procedure. Then draw lines from the points of suspension to the corresponding marks. The intersection of those lines is the position of the c.g.
